Having a favourable geographical location and plenty of sunny days gives the Visitor centre more than enough electrical energy for its own purposes produced by the solar panels which transform the light of the Sun into electrical energy. Two solar panel trees have been set up which operate on the photovoltaic principal that follows the Sun from dawn until dusk by using a double axis rotation system producing up to 45% more electrical energy than a non-rotating system.
