The main purpose of the bio research station is educating preschool and school children and students during organised visits to the Centre as part of the school in nature programme or student field trips, but also to educate all visitors. The station is equipped with light microscopes, stereoscopic magnifying glasses, a water analysing machine, bird, mammal, reptile and fish determining keys, as well as various expert literature which enables visitors to learn about protected species and the biological diversity of the Križnica area.
